Anita Ekberg

Anita Ekberg is a Swedish actor from Sweden. She appeared in a number of movies, including European and American. Her most well-known role is her work in the comedy drama film 'La Dolce Vita'. It was a critical as well as commercial success as well being awarded an Oscar during the Cannes Film Festival 1960. The film was made in Skane, Sweden, she had a job as a fashion model before beginning her acting career. She was crowned the Miss Sweden competition. After that, she was transferred to the US after which she started appearing in a variety of films, playing varying role. She played the Venusian Guard in 'Abbott and Costello's Go To Mars. It was her debut credit part. In the following year, she won the Golden Globe award in the 'Most Promising Newcomer', category after appearing in the film 'Bloodalley'. The actress was also featured in numerous other films over the course of her career. These include the War Drama between Italy and America 'War and Peace',"Valerie," the Western Film "Valerie", the British Adventure Crime Film 'The Man Inside The Man Inside,' as well as"The Dam On The Yellow River," the French and Italian film The Dam on the Yellow River.
