Lisa Edelstein was an American actress who is best known as the star of Fox's House medical drama. With a strict Jewish upbringing, Lisa Edelstein was able to move from Wayne into New York City when she was just 18 years old to go to the Tisch School of the Arts. She quickly became part of the scene of clubs in New York. Her performances were so impressive that the local press noticed. She utilised both her experience in the music industry and public recognition to create and star in a brand new musical called Positive Me. She landed her first job at MTV as the anchor of Awake on The Wild Side shortly after. Once Awake on the Wild Side was no longer running, she started to act in films as well as on TV, starting with brief roles. In time, her experience as an actress was growing.
