Meagan Monique Good was born August 8 1981 within the Panorama City neighborhood of Los Angeles to Tyra Wardlow-Doyle, her mother who managed her in her teen years and to her dad Leondis Leon Good is an LAPD police officer. She grew with her 3 brothers in Canyon Country California, and made her debut in acting when she was just four years old. She was an extra to TV shows like Doogie Howser Amen & M.D. in the beginning of her career. In 1995 at 13 she got her first role in the first feature film Friday. She first gained attention for her role as the teenage troubled Cisely Batiste in the movie Eve's Bayou in 1997 for which she was awarded two nominations including her very first N.A.A.C.P. Image Award Nomination. Good had small roles in film and on television for a couple of years, before moving to more mature roles at the beginning of 2000s. Her Nickelodeon television show, Cousins Skeeter featured her as Nina. show from 1998 through 2001. In addition, she had small parts in the films House Party to the Last Minute (1998) and 3 Strikes (2000). She portrayed Vanessa Scott in the sitcom My Wife and Kids. She was a part-time actress in D.E.B.S, an action comedy film which resulted in her being nominated as Best Actress at the Black Movie Awards in 2005. In the following years, she was in a variety of films, including You've Got Yourself Served, Cookout Venom One Missed call Waist Deep, and The Love Guru. While performing on T.V.
