Harry Edward Styles (also known as Harry Styles in the music world) is an British music producer and musician and. Harry Styles was one of the original members of One Direction. Parents were Des Styles and Anne Cox. The couple were born on 1st February 1994, in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. Harry Styles went to the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, along with three of his classmates, created a band group called White Eskimo. The group was part of the Battle of Bands where thanks to their outstanding performances, they were winners. He was always interested in music, but also wanted to pursue a career as an attorney, physiotherapist or even scout. To support his family, he spent some time at a bakery. Harry Styles was selected for The X Factor 2010 audition during which he performed the Stevie Wonder's song Is not She Lovely. Because of this, his band needed to be disbanded. Following the audition on The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles would be a part of the group that was to be dubbed One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. The creation of the group took place in the year 2010 and the five young people were funded by Simon Cowell. In the contest, the group played songs, such as My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler so the group became one of the candidates to be the winner. However, they finished third, a place behind Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles was not the winner, but Cowell was a millionaire as part of a deal for One Direction.
