Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish and half-English woman was born April 16, 1997 in Miami Florida. Half English and half Spanish she is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. Their father was Argentine with Scottish as well as English heritage. Her mother hails from Spanish and English heritage. Taylor-Joy was born into a household with six kids. Four are her siblings from her previous marriage to Taylor's dad. The family was within Buenos Aires until she was 6 years old. They then relocated to Victoria part in London. According to Taylor-Joy's account, the removal was extremely difficult for her and she decided to not learn English in the hopes that she could return to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school following the changed schools from Northlands. She then enrolled at Queen's Gate School, where she took dance classes and appeared in plays. When she was 16 she left school in order to pursue a full-time career in acting. From a young age Taylor-Joy had a dream to work as an actress. the dream became a reality when she was offered a modeling job by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
